Our police department has a House Watch Program to be utilized when you leave home either overnight or for an extended period during which your home will be vacant. Simply contact the police dispatcher by phone at 713-465-8323 or by e-mail at
dispatch@springvalleytx.com prior to your departure and provide the dispatcher with your name, address, dates of departure and return, emergency contact information, anyone who may have access to your home while you are away, information on any vehicles that will be visible during your absence, whether any lights will be left on, and any information on housekeepers, pool or lawn service companies, or others who may be at your home during this time. This information is kept in a confidential computer data base and is made available to all Spring Valley Village patrol officers. An officer on each shift will drive by your house looking for anything out of the ordinary. Upon your return, you simply need to notify the dispatcher of your return.
