Houston Public Works Notice
City Ordinances require certain automatic annual adjustments to the water and wastewater rates based on
inflationary indices. The one-year inflationary index for our area is 8.2%. The City of Houston population
increased by 1%. The combined impact of both factors results in an automatic annual water and wastewater rate
increase of 9.2% on April 1, 2023.
Don't be an Easy Target
We are asking for your help in reducing crime in our great community! Most vehicle crimes in our residential area involve unlocked vehicles that are entered by suspects walking through our city. It would be a tremendous help if you could make sure to remove any valuables in plain sight and keep your vehicle doors locked at all times.
Proclamation SBISD Support 2023
Spring Branch ISD recently invited all six Village mayors and respective city council members to attend an informational presentation led by SBISD Superintendent – Dr. Jennifer Blaine, SBISD CFO – Christine Porter, and the district’s School Finance Advocacy Team (SFAT) steering committee. The aim of the meeting was to educate us on the concerning financial situation facing the district and learn how we, as a community, can help advocate for the district during the 88th Texas Legislative session currently underway in Austin.

Coyote Control Plan
The City of Hilshire Village Council adopted a Predatory Animal Control Work Plan Ordinance on January 15, 2019 providing for the reimbursement of certain expenses incurred by property owners to remove coyotes that are a nuisance to its citizens. Ordinance Request for Reimbursement Form
