Volunteer with Us!

Make a Difference in Your Community

The City of Hilshire Village is powered by its citizens! Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back, meet your neighbors, and help shape the future of our community. We have opportunities for everyone—from helping with elections, planting trees for Arbor Day, to serving on one of our boards or committees.

Why Volunteer?

Be a Voice for Change: Help make decisions that impact the community.

Build Connections: Meet others who are passionate about the same issues.

Give Back: Share your time and talents for the greater good.

Volunteer Opportunities

Elections: Help ensure smooth and transparent elections. Serve as a poll worker or ballot counter, elections are held in May each year.

Arbor Day: Love the outdoors? Join us for Arbor Day to distribute and plant trees and educational materials to make our community greener.

Boards & Commissions: Our boards and commissions are integral to our city’s growth and development. Consider applying to serve in one of the following:

Board of Adjustments: Make critical decisions on zoning variance requests that affect local development.

Planning & Zoning Committee: Play a role in guiding future city planning and development.

Tree Board: Help oversee tree preservation and planting initiatives to keep our city green and sustainable.

Cultural Education Finance Facilities Corporations: Assist in the financing and development of cultural, educational, and recreational facilities that benefit the community.
