PUBLIC HEARING MEETING: MAY 19, 2009

 

 

1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Robin Border called the Public Hearing Meeting of the City of Hilshire Village to order at 6:48 P M at 8301 Westview, Houston, Texas 77055.

 

1.2. Present were Mayor Pro Tem Connie Castro, Council Members Shannon Whiting and Cheryl Wolfe. Council Member Wolfe and Denninger were absent.

 

2. CITIZENS COMMENTS: None

3. DISCUSSION:           

 

3.1 Authorizing a Specific Use Permit to be issued to Houston Mennonite

Church, located at 1231 Wirt Road for use of one temporary building (already

located on said property) to be used as an office.

 

Ed Wien, representing the Houston Mennonite Church, explained Monarch School was moving at the end of the summer and the Church would like to retain one (1) of the temporary buildings to be used as an office.

6. ADJOURNMENT: It was moved by Mayor Pro Tem Castro and seconded by Council Member Whiting to adjourn at 6:55 PM.
