SUBJECT: S V POLICE PATROLS

To: The Mayor at Spring Valley; Police Chief at Spring Valley

This is just a note of personal and public thanks for the obvious change and significant increases in police patrols in Hilshire Village since I actually signed and delivered our new contract for police protection. Yesterday while I was in and around the house with my wife we must have seen a dozen trips at all hours of the day and night by your patrol officers. This morning it has continued. Thank you.

As you know we have experienced a few unusual criminal issues in the last week or so and I am happy to see that the new added ≥presence≤ of our police patrols will certainly add a deterrent effect going forward. I am confident that the public will soon be aware and as thankful as I am for the added effort on your part. Not often enough do we praise efforts like this... may they be long-lasting.

When we begin construction on Ridgeley in the near future there will be added issues with ≥cut-thru≤ traffic overflowing onto Glourie as this speeding traffic moves between Westview and Wirt during rush hours. I will try to keep you abreast of the dates of construction as they are better identified.
