       4.1. Consideration and possible authorization for Claunch & Miller, Inc (Engineers) to commence Final Design Services for the Ridgeley Drive Reconstruction Project.

 

       4.2. Set date for canvass of election (revision due to results from Early Voting Board of Joint Harris County and other entities)

 

      43. Assignment of Place Numbers to Council in accordance with Ordinance No. 603 passed  April 17, 2007, providing that the election of the Cityıs Board of Alderman shall be by a place system.  The five (5) offices of alderman within and for the City are hereby designated as follows: Place No.1; Place No.2; Place No. 3  whose election will be held on the second Saturday in May 2008 and in alternate years thereafter shall in each instance be a term of two years. At the election held in May 2009, and at the elections held in alternate years thereafter, the terms of office for No.3 and No. 4 shall be in each instance, a period of two years.

 

May 2008: Mayor; Place No.1 (position held by Castro at present; Place No.2 (Position held by Shannon Whiting at present)

May 2009-Place No.3 (at present Denninger) No.4- (at present Anderson) and 5 (at present Henault from Tuckerıs resignation)
