1. CALL TO ORDER

2. CITIZENS COMMENTS/Public Forum (Time Limit: 5 minutes)

3. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON:

3.1. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AD VALOREM TAXES OF THE CITY OF HILSHIRE VILLAGE, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 2007; PROVIDING FOR TWO COMPONENTS TO THE PROPOSED TAX RATE, which SHALL BE APPROVED BY SEPARATE MOTION; PROVIDING FOR THE DATE ON WHICH SUCH TAXES SHALL BE DUE AND PAYABLE; PROVIDING FOR PENALTY AND INTEREST ON ALL TAXES NOT TIMELY PAID; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.

CONSISTING OF

A. TAX RATE OF $0.141770 Cents for the purpose of paying the accruing interest and to provide a sinking fund for payment of the indebtedness of the City,

b. tax rate of $0.378029 Cents for the purpose of funding the maintenance and operation expenditures

3.3. Consideration and Possible Action on allowing Centerpoint Energy to continue tree work in the Utility right-of-way under Centerpointís current practices. (Anderson)
